Stand Up For Seaton (SU4S)

Community Action for Seaton's Regeneration Area, 80% owned by Tesco - a floodplain on a World Heritage site bordered by nature reserves, tidal river, the sea and the unspoilt town. SU4S is a state of mind - no members, no structure, no politics. SU4S has objected to 2 planning applications by Tesco, including one for a massive superstore/dot com distribution centre which led to the recent closure on the site of 400 tourist beds with the loss of 150 jobs,a gym and pool - all used by locals.

The return of reality speak

Yo dudes! Checking the traffic stats after 3 years some people are still watching....probably more than who got votes at the last council election and probably making sure we don't open fire again, telling real tales rather than puff & spin (a sort of EDDC Rock'n'Roll, now we've been and worn the t-shirt we can say that with qualification and no "you musn't say that" from people ironically, holding onto the very talking stick they didn't want us to have!) So yay, we might be back, if only to point out that not everything the Devon/East Devon spinmeisters would have published is true. We're opening up the comments section in the next week, this is going to be a free-4-all so Seaton's real voice can have a piece of each other if they're man/woman/other enough to type it, we ain't gonna be the target this time mr party f political, you can argue with each other... Those that want back in, you know where we are, we'll take the lid back off and this time, let the worms squirm. Meanwhile, a little light relief from the excellent Mercedes Benson....
